Art For Life's Sake
Art for Life’s Sake brought creativity, companionship and renewed purpose to patients in three Rhondda Cynon Taf community hospitals.
Delivered by More Than Music Cymru in partnership with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, Socially engaged artist, Anne Culverhouse delivered 60 participatory art sessions which offered opportunities for self-expression, achievement and social connection in Ysbyty George Thomas, Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda and Ysbyty Cwm Cynon.
Independent evaluation found encouraging improvements in immediate wellbeing, demonstrating the potential of creative engagement to enrich hospital life.
