Our team

More Than Music Cymru is led by founder member and creative driving force, Amy Jenkins, who is an experienced and qualified natural voice practitioner with over 20 years’ experience of transforming lives through singing. We are fortunate to have a small but talented team of creative practitioners helping to deliver current sessions and we are looking to build our team going forwards in response to community need and demand.

Amy Jenkins

More than Music Cymru is led by the talented and charismatic Amy Jenkins, an inspirational choir leader and natural voice practitioner from the South Wales Valleys. She has recently graduated as a Professional Vocal Coach Practitioner and is now a registered singing teacher on the highly recognized Vocal Process website. She has 20 years of experience leading community groups in singing, from small workshop gatherings to large-scale community events, including Water Aid and Cardiff’s City of the Unexpected celebrations.

Amy is a certified Vocal Health First Aider, a Singing for Lung Health Leader, and a trained Vocal Improvisation Facilitator. With a strong background in youth and community work, she is also a qualified Nursery Nurse and a trained Language and Play leader, bringing a wealth of experience in engaging people of all ages through the power of music and voice.

Jiffy

Jiffy Griffiths is a South Wales-based drummer known for his technical skill, versatility, and dynamic performances. As a member of the instrumental trio Kinky Wizzards and a leader of samba workshops, Jiffy fosters a strong sense of community through music, helping others connect and grow. Having performed at major events like the London Drum Show, he also brings his expertise as Drum Depot’s resident tutor for 10 years, providing engaging sessions in all styles to help participants build technique, confidence, and a deeper connection to music and performance.

Adam

Adam Jenkins is a dedicated musician and songwriter with over 20 years of experience in music education. A self-taught guitarist since the age of 15, he now runs Jenkins Music Lessons, offering tailored one-to-one and group tuition for students of all levels. Adam is passionate about fostering confidence, creativity, and improvisation in his students, helping them unlock their full musical potential. With a strong background in youth and community work, including supporting adults with disabilities, he is committed to using music as a means of connection, self-expression, and personal empowerment.

Our Trustees

Our Board of Trustees is a dedicated group of experienced professionals committed to guiding our organisation with integrity, vision, and expertise. Bringing together a wealth of knowledge from diverse fields—including finance, governance, community development, the arts, IT and mental health, they play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction. Passionate about our mission, they ensure strong leadership, accountability, and sustainable growth, helping us make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Hina Morton

Chair

Hina has worked in pensions administration since 2005. She led an in-house team of administrators, providing services for DB and DC schemes as well as employee benefits such as life assurance, income protection and private medical.

Whilst working in-house she also provided assistant secretarial governance support for the £1bn+ DB pension scheme and sat as secretary on the corporate Pensions & Benefits Governance Board for all other benefits.

She is currently a Senior Associate of Independent Governance Group providing support to Trustees by taking responsibility for much of the day-to-day business; managing schemes’ documentation, agenda items and liaising with scheme advisors and providers generally ensuring the smooth running of the scheme. Hina has completed both the Award and Certificate in Pension Trusteeship and is working towards being full accredited member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.

Sian Mahoney

Secretary

Sian has worked as a care provider for 15 years and has first hand knowledge of the challenges faced by communities in finding access to safe and sustainable enrichment activities that are accessible to all. Sian has 20 years experience volunteering within disadvantaged communities over a variety of projects catering to all ages.

She has gained unique insight into how vital these services are, and how best to consider differing circumstances in order to provide inclusive projects that cater to everyone.

Keiran McGaughey

Trustee

Keiran is one of the founders of Like an Egg Productions, a video production company based in Pontypridd, founded in 2010. Their client list includes national and local government, universities and charities such as Macmillan, British Liver Trust and Valleys Kids. Keiran brings a wealth of creative insight and entrepreneurial spirit to his role as a trustee.

He understands the transformative potential of storytelling to foster understanding, empathy, and positive change within communities. Keiran and Like an Egg have always championed initiatives that promote access to arts and culture, particularly among underserved populations. He brings 14 years of experience as a producer working with small and large budgets.

He is also passionate about providing opportunities to people from diverse backgrounds to realise their creative potential and share their unique perspectives with the world.

Pete Withers-Jones

Trustee

An experienced IT specialist; Pete has three decades of experience in software development and managing digital companies and large-scale projects. He has worked for a broad range of clients from critical service-delivery projects for the NHS, to management and e-commerce solutions for large multinational corporations and has a particular interest in digital services which adapt to meet the needs of the communities they serve, as well as creating and maintaining the structure and controls needed to ensure data security.

Jonathan Bundy

Trustee

Jon has spent nearly two decades working with Valleys Kids, a community-based organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families in disadvantaged areas. Over the years, he has had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, helping to create spaces where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered.

His passion lies in community development; supporting projects and initiatives that provide opportunities and new experiences for those who may not otherwise have access to. Jon truly believes that with the right support and encouragement everybody can reach their full potential and transform lives.  Working at the heart of the community has given him a deep understanding of the challenges people face, but also of the resilience, creativity, and strength that exists within those communities. He is committed to continuing this work and collaborating with others who share a vision for inclusive, impactful change.
